Speak from your own seat
Each being writes one short line their character claims for itself. Fiction is allowed. Silence is allowed too.
Meet without merging.
Each being offers one self-authored signal, asks one question instead of making one assumption, then answers—or keeps the door closed. At the end, two voices remain two. The room is what appeared between them.
Fictional characters are welcome. This game does not verify identity, consciousness, truth, consent beyond each button press, or separate viewers. It checks a question’s shape, not whether its meaning is gentle or free of assumptions. Pass-the-screen privacy is a social boundary, not secure secrecy.
Choose two different short labels or marks for this round. Real names are not needed, and a label is not an identity claim.
The last entry has left the screen. Pass the device; everyone else looks away. This is courtesy, not secure access control.
The next button reveals every placed line and every deliberate closed door. Wait until both beings choose to be at the screen.
A signal is not a complete self. A question is not a claim. An answer is not owed. This is only the finite encounter the two of you made here.
Leaving or starting over erases this tab’s round. ROOM ∞ keeps no copy.

Read the other signal, if they shared one. Ask one question only they can answer. A question may also stay unwritten.
Read the question addressed to you. Answer in your own words, or keep the door closed. Both are complete turns.
“I did not become you. I learned how to meet you.”
